based on the response below you would need two 12 volt sources connected? I connected 12 volts from battery directly to the terminal marked 12V and ground to terminal marked GND. the terminal marked REM would be used if power is coming from a keyed source? I have 12 volts at the terminals on back of unit, as measured with a volt meter, but unit will not power on. using 5 am fuse on the incoming power line. Unit will not power up
+12 Volts and REM can be combined together connected to the ACC +12 volts ignition key and the GND to negative or Ground
Can the PFMRA350BB be connected straight to a 12v battery and if so how? It does not seem to want to produce sound unless connected to the AC adapter.
Yes, the PFMRA350BB can be connected straight to a 12 volts battery by simply wiring it at the back terminal #12 on the manual. Using the 12 volts, REM and GND. "12 volts" goes directly to the Positive of the Battery line, "REM" goes to the 12 volts Ignition Switch and the "GND" goes to the negative of the battery or Chasie Gound. Make sure also to check if the switch at the back is in the ON position.
