    • My food sealer has trouble getting enough air out in order for it to seal

    • Can it use 11” bags?

      The PKVS18SL can use 11-inch bags, as long as they are made of polyamide, which is an environment-friendly material that withstands high temperatures.

    • I purchased this PKVS18SL on 3/25/22 ( from Amazon) and have used it extensively without issue. It was really a fantastic product! Unfortunately yesterday 11/17/22, it stopped “sealing” the precut bags (or any bag) I have been using. The machine indicates that it is working as normal, but when I open the unit, the bag deflates and is not sealed. Can you please advise me as to how to fix this? I’m so sad, as it has been so reliable. I have followed all the directions regarding use and cleaning, it just seems to no longer heat. Thank you for your help, Vivienne Allen

    "Our previous (other brand) sealer """"disappeared"""" during a recent move, so I am not new to these devices. We purchased this one with two sets of bags, a large number of small pouch types for small amounts of things like spices and a roll for larger items. I unpacked the vacuum, set it up and then proceeded to cut up a whole pork loin. Several roast and a good number of chops were all vacuum sealed, dated and put into the freezer. Large number of vacuums and seals in a short amount of time. The machine worked flawlessly. Vacuum was strong, seals were (even with slight folds in plastic) solid and machine was fast."
