I recently purchased the ps1000. If there is a voltage surge how do I know it is protecting my equipment? There is no breaker button on the outside (front or back) to manually reset the device after the button pops out after a surge. Just purchased this ps 1000 The voltage readout reads 113/114 not normal. My other unit stays @ 120 They are both on the same elec. line Is this unit defective? Thankx, Mike
If there is a difference with the voltage readout there is a problem with the unit and it requires recalibration

Do the outlets power off in reverse order? I would expect that they power on from 1 to 8, then power off from 8 to 1, but would like to be sure. If you power on the unit, turn a single outlet off, and power down the unit, will that outlet still be powered down when you turn the unit back on? Thanks!
Yes, it powers off in reverse, and the unit will stay powered down if you turn off the switch. You will need to restart the sequence
