    • what specific kind or make of banana plug do you reccomned? They holes seem quite short.

    • My amp manual says "Do not connect the output of this amplifier to any headphone adapter, speaker switch or any device that uses common ground for left and right channels". Can I use a Pyle speaker selector with such an amplifier? This is a newer Class D amp with very different architecture from traditional amps.

please check amplifier specification for compatibility or contact the manufacturer

    • Can you run this with a car stereo amplifier, for eg. Pioneer GM-D8604? Which gives 2 or 4ohm

The PSLSW4 is not intended for car audio requirement is a minimum of 8 ohms impedance

    • What office ceiling speaker would I use with this system? I will need 8 speakers low background music only

      PDIC60

    • Can I use 2 of these on one amp? One for “A”speakers, one for “B”speakers.

NO, only one selector per receiver

    • Can this device support 3 pairs of speakers using my existing Pyle PT560AU 300 watts digital am/fm stereo receiver?

      Yes it can

    • Can this device support a mix of 4 to 8 ohm speakers? If so, what would be the impedance for a mix of 2 each 4 and 8 ohm speakers?

What you can do is to group the 4 ohm and 8 ohms

      Ex:

      Channel 1 & 2  @  8 ohms

      Channel 3 & 4  @  4 ohms

    • Is there an internal wiring diagram available for PSLSW4?

There is no available internal wiring diagram

    • Need help on speaker selection switch PSLSW4, PSLS4.5, PLSHVC412. What are the differences between them? Not interested in the PSPVC4 because of the box connectors. I’ve had a lot of problems with those connectors especially since I have 14 gauge wire. I’m losing left and right side stereo on my existing unit. I attribute it to the connector. I have to wiggle the connector to get both channels. Was very happy with it till the problem. I had it over 10 years.

These are all 4 channel Speaker selector.

PSLSW4, PSLS4.5,  these are both Binding post Speaker terminals
PLSHVC412 This one uses phoenix connector as speaker terminals

    • I just bought a house that has 4 Pyle speakers in the ceiling and I have 8 wires behind the TV. I am looking for an amp that connects these speakers to the TV. I am confused on what I need. Would this unit work, or what would you suggest? Thanks.

    • Hi , I want to buy this item , before that i need to know will this can be used as volume controller and zone selector in Yamaha receiver where the speaker is working in Ohms https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visual/av_receivers_amps/rx-v4a/index.html

The PSLSW4 does not have a zone selector function, which means you cannot assign different audio sources to different speaker pairs.
You can only use one audio source for all the speakers connected to the PSLSW4.
The PSLSW4 is compatible with speakers that have an impedance of 8 ohms or higher.

    • Ok, I just want to make it clear I can use this device. I want to plug two stereo receivers in (a vintage Sansui receiver and a Yamaha) and drive the same 2 sets set of speakers (8 ohm) (in 2 different rooms.). Meaning I want to be able to use the Sansui sometimes with other vintage equipment i have connected to it but because I have a bluetooth device connected to my Yamaha I would like to be able use the same speakers (that sound better than the Polks connected thereto.} Hope that makes sense.

Nice device for controlling multiple speaker sets.

"Easy installation, well built, not too expensive!"

    Steve A. (4/5)

Great product! Does what it supposed to

"Does what it should, nice and simple"

    Hyun J. (5/5)

    4 Channel Speaker Selector

"This is a very nice tool for me to compare my speakers I can connect 4 set of speakers, and play any combination and also compare two different Amplifiers and play any set of the four set of speakers with Amplifier A or B and very easy to connect your speakers"

    Jeremy G. (5/5)

It handles 4 sets of 8ohm speakers well for an outdoor sound system.

"I have the PSLSW4 4-zone speaker controller but they also make a 6-zone controller. I have this mounted on my covered patio and it is fed from a Bluesound Node audio streamer and a Fosi Audio TB10D amplifier. My Fosi amplifier puts out about 100watts a channel at 8ohms with the upgraded power supply. The Pyle speaker selector will accommodate 2 separate input devices."

    Cassie B. (5/5)

    Integrated regular speakers & Sonos

"This was a perfect solution to a home entertainment system where the audio receiver has many speakers connected to it for TV sound but also was using Sonos for music. The A/B switches on each volume speaker control was the reason to buy. Oftentimes we would find that some speakers were always out of balance and this was the solution. Combining this device for the hardwired system (receiver & inwall speakers) and the Sonos Amp proved to be the solution to that problem."

    Sarah C. (5/5)

Product worked as advertised. Exactly what I was looking for.

"Very heavy duty speaker selector. With the Pyle PSLSW4 4 channel speaker selector, I am able to select which zone I want to play music. Works perfect!"

    Maria P. (5/5)

    Outstanding Selector

"This is the second one of these I've bought. The first one finally got exhausted after 10 years and being shipped back-and-forth from Germany. Really it still works, but one of the volume selectors finally gave up. Did not hesitate to reorder another one. So many things you can do with this."

    Michael C. (5/5)

    totally changed speaker's sound stage

"I would like this thing to work as I have several speakers but the speakers sound is not the same as when they're hooked up directly to the amplifier. . . . using the switch, speaker's output is muddy and without any mid/high range. I have to send it back."

    Joyce T. (1/5)

Rare occasion that I write a review

"This passive speaker select/volume controller fit exactly what I needed. I have a multi input amplified mixer that directly feeds a set of monitor speakers for my drums, and a Bose L1B2 that I use vocals, and Bass fed through the headphone jack during band practice. I kept having to disconnect my speaker cables during band practice because The mixer would not allow the speakers to be reduced in volume and still generate enough output for the Bose. This Pyle unit has 4 speaker controls which is overkill for me, but the volume control works amazing, and if needed a simple button disconnects all speakers. A little bigger than I needed space wise, but works amazing."

    Guido G. (5/5)

Dead in just a few months.

"Dead after 4 months. No phone number to call for warranty support. Just an email. Good luck getting a response."
