Would it be advisable to run a 50VDC capacitor across the output terminals to cut down the amount of noise on the output of this power supply? Would it damage the power supply in any way?

I had a lightning strike near the Home knocked off our modem and dis power supply. And wondering where the fuse is on this? I have two of these and only one got affected.
