    The wires are needed to be connected to a 12 volts power to turn on the lights.

  • When i connect the speaker wires to the radio one of the speakes play without the negative connected and when I attempt connect the negative it stops playing. The other only plays when both positive and negative are connected which is how it should be. I do not have power to the lights yet. Also when i press the remote power button the little light on it does not light up, so is it just a dead battery or does the speakers have to have power to it for the remote to work? These are new speakers out of the box.
