How do I connect the PWFI23 to my wifi so that I can access Pandora or Spotify? If I connect my device to the PyleWFI123 you cannot stream from Spotify because no internet..... Directions are seriously lacking. If I am not mistaken, I should connect the Pyle to the same wifi network as my device... Open Spotify or Pandora and it should be able to select that??? Am I missing something here?
How to Play
WiFi Streaming Receiver is a device that
receives Internet streaming music or other
wireless music and multiple receivers can
be combined to a Zone to play the same music
synchronously.
1.Find a USB battery charger which
usually, your phone has one, the power
can be 5V/1A or above, connect the
battery charger, USB cable, and receiver
to power on.
2.Connect a smartphone to WiFi.
3.Connect the receiver to the same WiFi
which the smartphone connected.
Download smartsonix APP, and the APP
will guide you to finish the connection.
4, Play Music
A.Iphone: play music on the phone, open
Airplay to choose a receiver, then the
music will send to the receiver. -
What is the password for the PWFI23? I've tried going back to factory settings and entering '00000000' but the device says it is the incorrect password. So what is the password? Also the Sonix app tells me to look for the WI-FI starting with SmartSonix_XXXX, but the WIFI that appears on my phone is PYLE.... THIS HAS BEEN A VERY FRUSTRATING AND TIME WASTING EXPERIENCE I look forward to hearing from you

Before to music streaming from our phone´s, please help me with this question: This item must be connected with wire to Router ?? or can connected with router by wifi ??
It needs to be connected via LAN cable

For those who've reset their PWFI23 by holding WPS key > 5 secs and it still asks for a password, I have used '00000000' successfully (eight zeroes).
Thank you for this helpful information

How do I find the MAC address for this unit? My network administrator requires me to register the MAC address of devices that I want to connect.
It does not show that it needs the MAC address for connection but you can try to look at the bottom of the unit
-
How can I get firmware update for this unit? Modern firmware broadcasts the URL, but the older firmware it came with does not.
There are no firmware updates available
-
I have reset the unit several times. It always comes up requiring a password. How can I reset to open, or what is the default password?
There is no password requirement on our documentation. However, you may want to try "0000" or check the bottom of the unit for the user password. If you have not found or if the passwords did not work. Contact the seller if you are still within 30 days from purchase so you can request for a replacement

I cannot get Pandora or TuneIn radio to play. Sonix App says I have loaded the stations, but cannot get audio.
App may need to be updated

Connected PWF123 to Dennon DRA-555. Using WiFi and iPhone to stream Apple Music. Sound has too much static. Device shows 94% signal strength. I also tried using a line gain booster. Just made static louder.
Try to use LAN cable just to check if the static will goaway. If it goes, it will mean that the static is caused by a weak signal and you can contact the seller

Does the PWFI23 support airplay 2? Have you built in the ability to update the software as Apple updates AirPlay?
It says it is compatible with All Wi-Fi Enabled Devices such as iPhone, Android, Smartphone, Tablet, Computer, etc. and it can do Wireless Streaming Ability. No update required But you can update the App on your mobile device
-
Downloaded the app. It says to connect to the device with WiFi. It simply does not broadcast any signal. The identifier shows up (Pyle WiFi23_AC21) but that requires a password. Pretty much stuck here.
Long press the WPS button to reset the unit

Hi. I have Pyle amp model pcau24a. I want something that would allow me too send the audio to an amplifier in another room. Do you have a product that can do that. Thanks.
Would you mean to have another amplifier connected to the unit PCAU25A?
If so, there is no option to have the unit connected to an external amplifier or another for that matter. -
Can you fix the download for the user manual?
We'll have this escalated for convenience.

PWFI23 Manual -
For those of you having troubles getting your PWFI23 setup like I did and found the instructions basically worthless, you have another option. If you're at all familiar with the basics of your WiFi router, plug your PWFI23 directly into one of the ethernet (RJ45) ports on your router. Then view the connected devices in your router admin portal (review your router's owner's manual for this) to find out the IP address that was assigned from the wired LAN connection. Once you have the IP address, you can use a browser window using the format "http://" to configure the device and even change the device name to something more friendly. Using this method, I was finally able to complete the WiFi setup and am able to use the PWFI23 successfully for Airplay, however still no luck getting the Smart Sonix app connected.
