We recently bought Pyle PDWM8880 for meetings. I have 3 questions: a) Can this device provide output all 8 channels to a single speaker? How do we do that? b) If we need to attach 4 more microphones (Total 12 microphones), how do we achieve that? Can all channels provide output to a single apeaker? c) Any accessory to audio record the meeting?
This device can provide output to all 8 channels to a single speaker. You can do that by connecting the 1/4" mixed output of the receiver to the input of your speaker using an audio cable. Alternatively, you can also use the XLR balanced output of the receiver to connect to a mixer or an amplifier, and then connect the speaker to the mixer or amplifier.
If you need to attach 4 more microphones, you will need to purchase another PDWM8880 system, as each receiver can only support up to 8 microphones. You can then use both systems simultaneously, as long as you set them to different frequency channels. You can also output all 12 channels to a single speaker by using a mixer or an amplifier to combine the signals from both receivers.
If you want to audio record the meeting, you will need to connect the output of the receiver or the mixer/amplifier to a recording device, such as a computer, a smartphone, a digital recorder, etc. You can use the same audio cable or adapter that you use to connect to the speaker. Alternatively, you can also use a wireless Bluetooth transmitter to send the audio signal to a Bluetooth-enabled recording device. -
