    • Every time I turn on my headlights it switches to rear cam. Is there a work around with using the Orange wire I do not have or will be using/connecting a Rear camera with this unit.

      Check the Orange wire if it is connected to the Reverse trigger and the Camera power should get its power from the reverse tail light

    • I have three questions. I am installing your PLTS78DUB head unit. The connector plug diagram shows the orange wire as REVERSE (+). Does this orange wire need +12 volts for a backup camera such as your PLCM28MS to display on the screen? Second question is about the pink wire labeled PARKING BRAKE (B-). Is this meant to go to ground if you want to watch a DVD? Third question is about the orange/black wire labeled ILLUMINATION (+). Please explain the function of this wire. Is there any illumination of the head unit if this wire is not connected?

      Yes, the orange wire goes to the Reverse trigger so that whenever the gear is placed on the reverse it will turn the video monitor on.

      The Pink goes to the parking brake negative/ground

    • I just installed this unit I really like it works good expect when I turn my headlights on the screen turns off and the music starts skipping please help couldn't find anything online about that problem

      Please have the electrical checked. there is a voltage drop whenever your headlight is on. There may be some wires that are already stripped and grounding to the metal.

      Please check if the power wiring harness are connected properly. The yellow wire needs to be on a direct 12 volts connection. The RED wire needs to be on the ignition switch 12 volts.
