My amp manual says "Do not connect the output of this amplifier to any headphone adapter, speaker switch or any device that uses common ground for left and right channels". Hi , I want to buy this item , before that i need to know will this can be used as volume controller and zone selector in Yamaha receiver where the speaker is working in Ohms https://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio_visual/av_receivers_amps/rx-v4a/index.html
The PSLSW4 does not have a zone selector function, which means you cannot assign different audio sources to different speaker pairs.
You can only use one audio source for all the speakers connected to the PSLSW4.
The PSLSW4 is compatible with speakers that have an impedance of 8 ohms or higher. -
Ok, I just want to make it clear I can use this device. I want to plug two stereo receivers in (a vintage Sansui receiver and a Yamaha) and drive the same 2 sets set of speakers (8 ohm) (in 2 different rooms.). Meaning I want to be able to use the Sansui sometimes with other vintage equipment i have connected to it but because I have a bluetooth device connected to my Yamaha I would like to be able use the same speakers (that sound better than the Polks connected thereto.} Hope that makes sense.
