QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Hello, since June of 2019 my company has purchased numerous Pyle PCBLCO22 cable guards to protect our cables at a hydroelectric facility in Kentucky. These guards were placed outside but were not subject to full size automobile traffic, only Cushman carts with one or two people in them. This morning I received photographs showing some of the guards failing. There are large cracks in the top flat piece and it appears as if total collapse of the top is imminent. Is this within the expected lifespan of these guards? I was expecting them to last at least the full three years of our project at the site. I'll need to replace the failing sections but will not use these guards again if that's what can be expected after only 1.5 years of use.
