It can only drive regular or satellite speakers. There is no provision for subwoofer

For the speaker terminal of the PFMRA440BB. The positive terminal of the Channel 1 & 3 is on the right side of the speaker terminal and the Channel 2 & 4 is on the left side. In between the positive terminals are all the negative terminals

Can the unit be left powered on for extended periods of time (years)? Is the a/c power consumption the same whether the sound is being played through the attached speakers or not?
The amp can run 24/7 depending on the power supply. power consumption depends on how loud the volume is.

What is the "REM" connection for?
It' 12 volts trigger from the head unit.

Explain how to wire up amp with 4 channels and your receiver I bought only has 1 RCA output on it. The amp has (Pyle also) has a 4 channel RCA PORT SYSTEM
