    • Can these speakers be installed outside in a protected location, i.e. under a patio cover? We live in Oregon, so lots of moisture and occasionally freezing temps.

      It is ok to install in a protected covered area

    • I have connected my ceiling speaker to the TV through aux. Even though TV’s volume is at 0 speaker volume is still loud. I tried to adjust the volume but I couldn’t? Is there is a way to adjust the volume?

    • Hi. I just installed and they beep in between each track of an album or playlist. Can’t imagine why anyone would want to hear that. Is there a way to make it not beep?

      There is no option to turn of the beep

    • I have an older home receiver that I intend to use for watching DVDs/television content and had planned to run conventional speaker wire from that receiver to a set of these in-ceiling speakers for a 5.1 surround setup. I like that this set is bluetooth, so that I could also listen to music from my iPhone and such. Would I connect 2 pairs of wires to each speaker - 1 from the old receiver, and 1 from the bluetooth power supply to allow for bluetooth use? Trying to see how I can operate in both modes

      We recommend PDIC60 and just use a Bluetooth receiver

      The connection must be manually terminated before connecting other device to the unit

      No. There is no subwoofer output for the unit.

    • Where does the bluetooth controller go during installation? Next to the speaker in the ceiling, or in the room somewhere?

      Advise is to be near the speakers as the speakers are connected to the Bluetooth controller.

    • Do you offer a model that does not beep in between songs/playlists?

      Check the BT connections, change the device if necessary as it should not beep in between songs.

    • Do these speakers need AC power?

      The unit requires a 12V DC power supply.

    • Can you rename these speakers? We want to put in classrooms

      You can on the device where the unit is connected. You just have to change the BLUETOOTH name.

    • How big must the cut out in the ceiling be? The manual can't be downloaded at this time, so we can't tell
