    • Hi there, I purchased this model a while back ago and my warranty is no longer valid. The product enters a "PROTECT" mode and appears to need a change of a fuse component. I've opened up the appliance but couldn't find the fuse component anywhere. I'm a professional electronic and I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me or refer me to information regarding to the fuse's location, or elaborate on the "PROTECT" meaning, if I'm off track.     • I just purchased the PT694BT and have connected a Direct TV and Roku to the amp. The AMP starts up in AUX mode always, how do i get the amp to start in HD1?

    • I am having much trouble finding something to replace the “music only” system I have. I don’t need a CD player anymore. I like using flash drives that can hold a lot of music and hope to find a device that can read it, send the music to my speakers in random order, and displays at least the number I assigned to the track on the drive. 1. Can it read MP3 formatted music from a flash drive? 2. Can it play the music in the shuffle or random mode? 3. Does it show information about the music being played on a display screen?

    • Does the PT 696BT honor CEC commands? Can not get the device to change volume via the TV remote. A soundbar test does change the volume so it seems the TV is sending CEC signals.. Best regards

      PT694BT is not CEC supported

    • When switching from netflix ir any app on smart tv to cable the ARC turns off every time. Is there a fix?

      You have to set ARC as default audio out on the TV and turn on ARC on the receiver whenever needed.

    • Trying to hook a Fluance db10 to this unit. Have tried the LFE/low level input from sub to the sub 1 port on the pyle, nothing. sub only has 4 high level binding posts out to receiver and the single lfe port for hookup options. would a split rca single to double plugged into sub ports 1 and 2 coming from the lfe port work? any other suggestions?

      You can try SUB2 to connect to Fluance db10 LFE/low level input

    • I get an error when I switch ARC on. I have a high speed HDMI from the ARC output on the receiver to the ARC input on the TV. I also set the Samsung TV to output sound to the receiver. But no sound comes through and error is displayed on the receiver display.

    • Hello, I only intend to connect front left & right speakers and an active subwoofer to the sub pre-out on the PT694BT, so I don't want the surround, center, and subwoofer speaker connections (channels) to be powered. Would I need to select 2.1 channel mode or HiFi mode to only power up the front speakers? Also, with just the front channel left & right speakers powered what would the wattage be individually to each speaker? Thank you

      Yes, you can select 2.1 HiFi mode Watts per channel is approximately 167 Watts

    • I just purchased the PT694BT and the display worked fine the first day then the second day it is so dim I can hardly see the display at all. Is there a setting the brightens the display?

      The PT694BT is a flexible amplifier. it has two options for subwoofers
      1. Using the RCA Subwoofer out for ACTIVE Subwoofers
      2. Using the Red and Black Binding Post for Passive or none powered subwoofer

      Press the analog input to select FM, and then you can press the play pause button to scan all radio stations. Once you have done scanning you can now search using the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons to locate the station you want to listen to but you can not assign your favorite station

      Sound bar are normally connected to the TV not to the receiver and HDMI ARC or eARC are normally one terminal only so you have to choose if you will use Sound Bar or the Receiver

      Turn off for 2 to 3 minutes check all speaker terminals for any shorted wiring. Make sure none are shorted before powering up. If it still go's on protect mode after shutting down then there may be internal pats that have been damaged

      There are no headphone jacks on PT694

      It is possible that the HDMI cable is not plugged in to the HDMI ARC port on the TV

      Also, go to the TV settings to check if the HDMI ARC or CEC is activated.

    • I just purchased this unit on Amazon. Does it matter if my Samsung TV has an ARC HDMI input ? So ARC HDMI output ( from my PYLE surround sound into an ARC HDMI input on my Samsung TV. The only other options on my tv are coaxe/audio-optical cable. ARC to ARC gives me an error reading on the PYLE unit. Very frustrating for me.

      Try pressing the ARC button on the front panel of the unit to see any difference.

    • This is more of a comment than a question. Your dimensions are listed wrong, in my opinion. Three dimensional objects have a width, a depth, and a height. Width is the measurement left to right when facing the front of the unit. Depth is the front to back, and Height is top to bottom. You are listing it like this: Total Unit Dimensions (L x W x H): 16.9’’ x 12.8’’ x 4.9 ’’ -inches. That made me buy it thinking the width was 12.8". It doesn't fit where I bought it for. I'm making it work but it really screwed me up the way you're listing it. Length is a rather useless measurement. This unit is actually (W x D x H): 16.9 x 12.8" x 4.9". Hope that helps other people who thought they finally found a narrow enough receiver for an RV. You didn't.
