I've bought Pyle Professional 8 Channel UHF Wireless Microphone from amazon but 1 of the handheld mic is not working, I wonder if I can buy just one of those handheld mics.

I setu the lapel mic on channel 1 but if the mic is more than 1 inch away from mouth, it doesn't pickup signal and sound doesn't come out of speaker

What frequency band range are these on?
The UHF frequency range is 523-597.8 MHz, avoiding the frequency interruption.
