      PSLSW6 > Uses Binding post for the speaker terminals where you have a choice to use bare wires or Banana plugs

      PSPVC6  > Uses Phoenix connectors

      The PSS6  It has Impedance Protection but nothing was mentioned about the matching transformer

    • Does either of the 6 channel selectors PSPVC6 or PSLSW6 require 110v plug in power from a wall outlet or are either strictly passive?

      Both uits does not require to be plugged in to power

    • Can I use this just to add speakers on my home receiver that only allows four?

      Amp A and Amp B are Input sorce from 2 different amplifier

      No, you cannot link two PSLSW6 speaker selector systems together. 
      It does not have any input or output ports for connecting another speaker selector system.

    • HOW DO I CONNECT THIS UNIT TO MY AMP MARANTZ SL6015?

      Connect the left and right speaker outputs of the amplifier to the left and right A/B inputs of the speaker selector using speaker wires
      Connect up to six pairs of speakers to the speaker selector using speaker wires. Make sure to match the polarity (+/-) of the speakers and the selector
      Turn on the amplifier and the speaker selector. Use the front panel switches on the selector to activate or deactivate each pair of speakers individually. Use the rotary knobs on the selector to adjust the volume for each pair of speakers.

    • HOW DO I CONNECT RCA CABLES TO THE BACK OF THE SPEAKER SELECTOR.THERE ARE NO INPUTS FOR RCA CABLES.,ONLY SPEAKER INPUTS.

      There is no option to connect RCA cables to the unit.

    • WHAT SIZE BANANNA PLUGS DO I NEED FOR THIS.

      The size of the banana plugs that you need for this unit depends on the gauge of your speaker wires. The unit can accept up to 14-gauge (14 AWG) speaker wires, so you need to use banana plugs that are compatible with that size.

      Connect the left and right outputs from your receiver to the left and right A/B inputs on the speaker selector using RCA cables.
      Connect up to 6 pairs of speakers to the speaker selector using speaker wires. Each pair of speakers has a corresponding input/output terminal on the back of the unit. The input terminals are marked with + and - signs, and the output terminals are marked with L and R signs.
      Make sure to match the polarity (+/-) of the speaker wires to the terminals, and to use speaker wires that are compatible with your speakers' impedance.
      Turn on the power switch on the speaker selector and adjust the volume controls for each pair of speakers as desired.

    • hello thank-you for your time. im a complete noob setting this up for my dad who is over seas. looking at the included manual it says 8om for one speaker and 1.7 for 4 speakers. do i need to get different speakers or is that just what the output value at the terminals would be? im sorry for the stupid question, thank-you for your time

      The impedance of the speakers will run/depend on how many speakers that you are going to use.

    • Bad customer service. They can't give any clear answers about whether there is an impedance matching feature. The manual is poor quality and unclear on this also.

    • If my amp has 8 ohms resistance (it can be changed to 6), can I have 3 pairs of speakers on at one time? Is the impedance in your chart for the whole group or for each speaker, ie; for A+B+C+D+F you have 1.7, is that 1.7 for each or 1.7 for all 5? I have aPSLSW6 switch

    • Hi there, i have this 6 zone speaker switch and it works, but not independently, sound comes out weather the volume is up or down, switched on or off, you can only control the volume through the amp, can you tell me what i have done wrong in the set up please

      The unit has a button labeled All Speakers ON/OFF. Select OFF and try controlling the speakers individually using the volume controls
