I bough one PHE300 and is not working does it need a battery? is not really what you guys advertice.

PHE300 -- Does this use transformers to implement the isolation? What is its frequency response? (Intended usage for balanced outputs of a mixer to drive unbalanced audio inputs of a computer.)

I had a Hiss noise problem with my guitar amp (Head). PYLE resolved me the problem when I connected PYLE between the amp and the cabinet-speaker. Some people told me that this a wrong method to reduce the noise and is possible that I can make to blow the amp. I would like to know if is risky do it on this way.
We have not tested the unit for a high-level output in between the amp and the speaker.

I have a long path (130 ft) between my control room and my live room. I want to send a balanced line level signal from my control room to an unbalanced input in my live room. Can I use the PHE300 to unbalance the signal at the end of the path and prevent possible noises?
