Is there any way to skip a folder, as I could on the PDA6BU? I'm using a USB stick of mp3's. It seems that a long press on the FF sends it forward a different numbers of tracks each time pressed. Thank you.
Unlike the PDA6BU, the Pyle PDA29BU does not have a dedicated folder-skip function or a specific folder working mode. On this model, a long press on the Fast Forward button simply advances the current track quickly (fast-forwarding through the audio of the song itself) rather than jumping between directories. Because the player reads every MP3 file on your USB stick sequentially in one flat list, holding down that button advances through the minutes of the track, which explains why it lands on unpredictable track numbers depending on how long you hold it. To navigate faster on the PDA29BU, your best option is to use the number pad on the included remote control to type in the exact track number you want to skip to.

What kind of microphone can I use? When I use a Shure SM58 with an XLR to 1/4" cord no sound comes out. However, the same mic and cord work on another amplifier. Can you please advise?
The PDA29BU is designed to work with dynamic microphones using its 1/4” mic input, so in theory a Shure SM58 should work — but the issue you’re experiencing is very likely related to signal type mismatch (balanced XLR mic into an unbalanced 1/4” input) or the cable wiring, not the microphone itself.

Hi please I need help Bluetooth is not working with m'y galaxy note 20 ultra Samsung.
If the Bluetooth on your PDA29BU is not connecting to your Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, try the following steps:
- Make sure the amplifier is set to Bluetooth (BT) mode.
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on again on your phone.
- If you previously paired the device, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, select "PYLE", and choose Forget/Unpair, then scan and pair again.
- Move the phone within a few feet of the amplifier during pairing.
- Power cycle the PDA29BU by turning it off, unplugging it for 1–2 minutes, then turning it back on.
- Try connecting with another phone or tablet to determine whether the issue is with the amplifier or the phone.
If the Bluetooth device name "PYLE" does not appear at all during scanning, the Bluetooth module may not be entering pairing mode properly and the unit may require service.

Just purchased this Pyle PDA28BU unit. The volume while in radio mode works fine. Using radio mode the volume dial is halfway or lower and is plenty loud enough. In Bluetooth mode, while having both the Bluetooth device and the PDA298U volume maxed out, the volume is just loud enough to hear within a couple of feet from the speakers. I have tried 2 set of speakers and the outcome is the same. Can you please assist me with this issue? My intentions are to use the Pyle unit primarily in Bluetooth mode and as of now this unit is worthless to me.
Bluetooth input is not defective likely—it’s usually just a low input gain mismatch vs FM/radio mode.
Check that the unit is in BT mode (not AUX/LINE attenuation setting) and turn master + source volume fully up.If still very low, the PDA series may require external Bluetooth receiver with higher output level for proper loudness.

what is improvement / difference between PDA29BU and PDA29BU.5
The number at the end indicates when we make minor or major improvements externally or internally. This could mean an overhaul or modification of the design of a better circuit board. Sometimes the same factors that affect the costs also affect the prices.
Normally, we try to pass on savings to our clients when there is an upgrade that is less expensive than the previous generation. On the other hand, if it is more expensive or the unit might cost a little more but our objective is to provide the best product possible. -

You can operate this product on 12 volts, as long as the current is at least 8.33 amps. However, you may need to use a fuse holder or a circuit breaker to protect the product from overcurrent.

How do you just choose a FM station to listen to? Does it only play ones it chooses? And your manual speaks of Play/Pause button but does not show it. As well as next/previous button but does not show it. If I can't choose a particular FM frequency without using presets, this thing is worthless.
