QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
How long and how wide and does it have an antenna
The depth is not standardized but the typical US DIN radio is 7" x 2" (although the actual 180 mm width converts to about 7-3/32" so most people use 7-1/8" to allow for clearance)
Yes it has an antenna port at the back

On a boat all power is shut off through a master switch to prevent battery drain when not present. What settings will be lost each time the power is disabled? I am specifically interested in the BT pairing settings.
System settings like Clock, radio presets

does radio need an antenna?
Yes

How far off the mounting panel does the volume bottom extend (ie, how much clearance to a cover) is needed?
We have tried to check but we can't find any dimension. However, you can check this video on youtube just to give an idea about the actual size

I am having trouble with my iPhone connecting to the BT function. I had it connected initially and then forgot the device to reset and now Pyle does not show up to connect under my BT section on my phone.
It is possible that the version of Bluetooth is not compatible the Bluetooth Version it currently uses is V 2.1

I just purchased your PLMRB29W Marine Stereo Receiver. The instructions were not included in the box. Not a problem. Very similar to my previous Pyle unit. On the box it states the unit audio control has Bass, Treble controls. I am running a large amplifier on my boat. I need to adjust the bass and treble manually however after numerous attempts I can not locate any manual bass and treble controls. Help! Thank You.
Press the SEL button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle through the following
adjustable audio functions: BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, FADER, EQ.
Rotate the VOL knob on the front panel or press the VOL+ /VOL- button on the remote
control to adjust the selected item.
- BASS:-07,-06, ~, -01,00,+01,~, +06,+07
- TREBLE:-07,-06, ~, -01,00,+01,~, +06,+07
- BALANCE:L07,L06,~, L01, 00, R01,~,R06,R07
- FADER:R07,R06~,R01,00,F01,~,F06,F07
- EQ(Equalizer) Setting: OFF, FLAT, POP, ROCK, CLASS -

What size of fuse does the memory take? I put a 1amp in keeps blowing the fuse
The unit is built with a 15Amp fuse which is located at the back of the unit:
Please re-check the wiring of the unit and make sure that the wires are properly connected:
* RED WIRE goes to the ignition switch 12volts supply.
* The BLACK WIRE goes to Negative or Ground.
* The BLUE WIRE is optional for Antenna Motor or External Amplifier Power trigger.
* The YELLOW WIRE needs to have a constant 12volt power. -

I am very disappointed in your remote. I purchased this pyle marine radio and cannot get the battery holder out of the remote to insert a battery. I have followed the instructions in the manual and only manged to break the small tabs on the battery compartment off. The battery holder compartment remains stuck. Is would appreciate some help or a replacement remote that allows me to actually get a battery installed.

My boat only has RR+,RF+, Right- and LR+, LF+, Left- speaker wires (Right minus is shared between right front and right rear speakers, and Left minus is shared between left front and left rear speakers.) How do I wire the 4 negative speaker outputs from your head unit to the 2 negative speaker wires in my boat (Left - and Right -)?. Can I short RF- and RR- together, and LF- and LR- together at the radio speaker outputs and connect them directly to Right - and Left - respectively? Thank you, Joe
each wires should be wired separately
