I have a PTAU45 AMP and wish to know if this wireless microphone will work well with it?

We need wireless lavalier mics for our faculty to use with an existing PWMA-1090UI, as the original mics that came with that unit seem uni-directional (not picking up voice unless put right up against the speaker's mouth. Are these mics omnidirectional? And could we just plug the receiver for them into the PWMA-1090UI? We just need to upgrade our mics with our existing PWMA-1090UI so faculty can have wireless lavs and talk normally. If there is a better solution that this one, can you let me know? I'm not an audio person.

Hi, we have an older PWMA-1090UI system that came with a wireless handheld mic and a wireless lav mic. Neither of those mics work unless the speaker's lips are right up against the mic -- and only the lav one works reliably that way (the handheld barely picks up the voice). I have purchased two of these sets from your Amazon store. The 1/4-inch plug broke off the first receiver, so I bought another complete set. Now I have four transmitters and mics but only one working receiver. Would it be possible to purchase just a receiver from this unit, so that I can have a spare? I work professionally.

Yes, it needs an speaker or an amp for this to work.
Can I get an extra receiver as a backup? Or an extra battery? I don’t want to run out of battery during a performance.

Is the rechargeable lithium battery a 3.7 volts? And do you sell extra ones?

The transmitter requires a (2) x AA Battery each.
I cannot get it to hook up To my portable speaker

Using the receiver that is included with the unit, you can hook it up to the speaker at the 1/4 inch port. Also, check for the battery of the receiver to make sure that it is working.
can you just purchase the rechargeable receiver. I bought the PDWMU211 less than a year ago and the little receiver was dropped and the plugin broke and came apart.

If the plug broke, you can replace it with a wired connector.
