We need wireless lavalier mics for our faculty to use with an existing PWMA-1090UI, as the original mics that came with that unit seem uni-directional (not picking up voice unless put right up against the speaker's mouth. Are these mics omnidirectional? And could we just plug the receiver for them into the PWMA-1090UI? Is the rechargeable lithium battery a 3.7 volts? And do you sell extra ones?

The transmitter requires a (2) x AA Battery each.
I cannot get it to hook up To my portable speaker

Using the receiver that is included with the unit, you can hook it up to the speaker at the 1/4 inch port. Also, check for the battery of the receiver to make sure that it is working.
can you just purchase the rechargeable receiver. I bought the PDWMU211 less than a year ago and the little receiver was dropped and the plugin broke and came apart.

If the plug broke, you can replace it with a wired connector.
