I bought this amp and wired it correctly but I still have a red light the manual say that I should have a green light
Try to rewire the unit and check the power supply if it is constant 12V.

Amp shuts off at 13.9 volts. Comes back on when shut motor off.
Remove all the wiring connections made with the unit and have it all connected and make sure to check its polarity and also check for power supply where the unit is connected.
