I have a PAD7BU and am tiring to get the FM to work. The right knob is set to MP3, and I scanned the channels but the NEXT PREVIOUS buttons does not change the station. The station stays on the lowest station that it stopped at after the scan finished. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
When performing the scan for stations. Have you checked if the antenna at the back of the receiver is connected properly?

Your FAQ page for the pda7bu states that the unit uses DTA (DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY ALGORYTHM). Does that mean that the main left/right speakers do not need to be hooked up and that all you need to use is left/right/center surround speakers?
Yes, It uses DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY ALGORITHM in place of the Dolby Digital Suround

I need a simple manually controlled FM tuner with AFC and amp to run two 8 ohm speakers in Mono; that will retain it's on status and the FM and Volume settings when the power is turned on and off by an external power source timer. No remote is required at all.
The unit can be controlled by an external power source timer. But the FM and volume settings may not be remembered by the system

will the PDA7BU be set to power on, FM frequency and volume and be turned off and back on by an external 120v timer and retain the self On and retain the FM and volume settings.?

How does one select an FM station? Pressing the Play/Pause button starts a scan, but how do you stop it on a particular station? Pressing the Back button takes me to a series of pre-sets from the past (previous owner ?) but I don't know how to change one of them to a desired station. Thanks for the help.
Once the unit has scanned the radio stations, it will be saved automatically. There is no option to choose your favorite station. To do a search you just need to use the previous and next buttons

Good day I have just received a PDA7BU Home Theater Amplifier I have connected my speakers (center, surround, left and right - frontal) but the quality of the sound is very bad!!. It seems that there is some kind of interference... I am using a DAC02 DAC digital audio converter from optical output from my TV to RCA connected to TV input on the amplifier Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
First check for any bad cables. Make sure that you are on the AUDIO Output of the TV going into the DAC and out the DAC going to the TV INPUT on the PDA7BU. If everything has been checked and still get a bad reception on the Audio

Hello, I'm trying to get sound out of the amplifier, connected new 60watt (max) speaker to the right main out put the selector switch to MP3 with a 50gig thumb drive in the USB slot master volume starting at 0 slowly raising volume to max - nothing. Tried again with a audio mixer feeding music into the aux on the back side and selector set at aux - nothing. Tried same with mixer connected to DVD/CD changing selector switch to DVD/CD - nothing. Tried again connecting my cellphone to the front side aux input and selector switch set to mp3 - nothing. All three tried with mode changes rotating between disk and Bluetooth. What's missing?
For mp3, USB/SD, FM, Aux, and Bluetooth please also check the volume on the remote control
