What's the difference between the RCA inputs and the "mp3" input on the front?

It is the same, the mp3 slot on front is for easy access

there is no instructions in box how do you connect blue tooth to it

How can humm be stopped when tone controls are used?

Use quality cables and good ground circuit

Will this work with my headphones that I have wired from my TV. The volume from the optical port output from the tv cannot be adjusted. This device seems like it would allow me to raise or lower the volume. Thanks.
