2-Ch.Hum/Noise Eliminator
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Will the PHE400 (2-Ch.Hum/Noise Eliminator) operate also like a signal splitter? For instance, if I plug a XLR microphone in, will the signal produce from both the XLR male output AND the 1/4" TRS output?
Yes

Hi. I received my Hum/Noise Eliminator 2-channel box for my bass guitar rig. I have a humming noise when I turn up my volume. Do I plug a cable from my bass to the "In" on Channel #1, and the another cable from the "Out" channel from Channel #1 to where I normally plug my bass to my amp? In addition, would I need to also plug the amp output to an Input channel #2 and the output #2 from your device to the cabinet? I know it may be a simple question but I have to ask. Thanks.
Only use this for low signal applications such as your instrument. Amp speaker output to Speaker cabinet is not applicable

Hello, I've just received the PHE400 and plugged it in between the microphone output (via 48V phantom power supply) and the microphone input on my computer (Acer Aspire). I've tried two different inputs, the regular headset jack (Realtek sound chip) and Creative Soundblaster Play3 external USB soundcard). Each time I get a buzz. I DON'T get any buzz when using my regular headset in either input. And I also only get a slight hum when I *bypass* the hum eliminator and plug the mic input in directly (which is why I bought it in the first place). So is your product faulty? Or am I doing something wrong? (I'm in Thailand, where we have 220V and 50Hz mains electricity.)

Hi, I'm trying to eliminate what appears to be a ground loop hum/buzz in my guitar amp. Would your product also work on the Australian mains electricity voltage and frequency? (230V and 50Hz) Thanks
Yes
-
Do you have any frequency response data for this product?
There is no Frequency response on our data sheet

Does it have 1:1 isolation transformer or 11:1 isolation transformer?
Uses 11:1 Isolation Transformers to Break Loop Antenna and Balance Audio Lines

HI, I recently purchased this unit from Amazon. I understand that both the input types, i.e. XLR and 1/4" TRS will only work for low signal levels like mic and instrument. What would then be the outputs if such instruments are inserted, specifically, what output will the mic input produce and what output will the instrument input produce? Will all outputs be at line level balanced?
Yes balanced line level

Supports phantom power? And the other question is if eliminates the RF interference. Thanks for your help!
The PHE400 does not support phantom power. Also, it can eliminate the RF interference that is caused by ground loops, which are unwanted currents that flow through the ground wires of audio equipment.
