"Installing these on a 3rd-gem CRV since the woofer mount is the same as the Civics. Tweeter mounting differs, CRVs are dash mounted, but the tweeters themselves were easily removable from the Civic mounts. Tweeters aren't wired in yet but the woofers have surprisingly good bass output with the inline passive crossover removed, and only powered by the headunit's 22watt/channel RMS internal amp for now. Midrange sounded pretty harsh at first but after at least 30 minutes of music they "smoothed out". I would've rated them higher but the doors still needed trimming because these speakers stick out past the adapters further than the OEM speakers, but for the price after the discount code they're a very good deal. I'm quite surprised the coaxial version of these are almost $30 more, I would have ordered them too for the rear doors if they weren't priced so high."
