      Yes it can be wired for 2 Ohms. Simply connect the 2 coils in parallel

    • I do assume that mounted in a box, this sub will work with your Home Theater Amplifier PREA90WBT as easily as a car system. In fact all your car speakers that are capable of 8 way 500 watts will work with the home system when properly mounted in boxes

Should I just use one set of terminals and if so which set. or do I need to connect the two sets in series or parallel

    • I bought this from Amazon.ca, and paid $71 Canadian Dollars. It was delivered on time, however, it looked used, and the Box was damaged. The description says cables, screws, and templates included, also one of the pics shows a grill Nothing was in the box except for the speaker. Nothing else. Does it matter how the subwoofer is mounted? Can I mout it in a kitchen cabinet in my R.V.? Is there a grill available? Does the cabinet need to be ported? Is a large cabinet ok?       The unit should come with a cutout for you check if it will fit on to where you need this to place.
      Also, yes the unit should be enclose to a ported enclosure to secure the audio output.
