Why would my PMP52BT stop working even with fresh batteries?

How long should the batteries last? The batteries ran out after ten 10-minute uses and now it has stopped working.
Batteries should last more than a day due to that the Bullhorn is not always on. it only turns on when you speak to it. If it drains fast there might be an issue with the battery

The PMP52BT does not have a power adapter option

Do you have one with the same features but comes with an adapter to be used through a 110 V outlet?
We only have this types of units using with Dry cell or rechargeable battery, We don't have it with AC power.

How do I turn the megaphone off besides just removing a battery?
To turn it off, simply place the switch on the left side to the speak mode. This way it will only turn on when you press the trigger switch.

There was a plastic insert that came in the battery compartment, it seems to hold batteries in place and has battery placement indications on it but they conflict with the battery placement diagram on the inside of the cover. Which battery placement is correct and do I use this plastic piece while the megaphone is active or do I throw this piece away?
Use the suplied plastic holder and follow the terminal for battery contact with button contact for positive and spring contacts for negative

Can we get a manual for this bullhorn. Someone just gave us one but threw away the box. What size batteries?
