Great for home recording
"I've been using this interface to record guitar, bass and keyboard into Audacity on my lap top and it's been working great. The aux jack is a great bonus as well. I've used it to connect to the headphone jack on my stereo and make digital copies of old cassette tapes and records."

This Audio Kills
"This USB Audio Interface is sick! Sound is crystal clear and I’m blown away by the effects. Super compact too!"

No ""special effects"" to be found on this model, and the manual is worthless. That's not all. . .
"I just received my Pyle PMUX6 ""professional"" USB Audio Interface, and the first thing I want to know is this: Where are the 24 preset special effects that are included in the product description? The next thing I want to know is how to use the darn thing. I've gotten it to record, and the mic input sounds ""okay"" if I use my condenser mic, put my dynamic mic input is so low that it's practically worthless. Also, when trying to record via mic input and guitar input at the same time, the guitar cuts out to almost nothing every time I sing into the mic. I would have assumed that the PyleAudio site would have had a more-in-depth manual than the high-level 7-page ""leaflet"" that gives you no real information on how to set up the device with your DAW. I bought this thing so that I could record myself playing and singing at the same time, but so far I'm unable to figure out how to keep the guitar from dropping out when I sing. And where are those effects? It says it in the product description, and in the graphic below, both of which very clearly indicate that they're available on the PMUX6. I only gave it two stars because the mic audio is pretty clean, but only with a condenser mic on phantom power."

Best Pre-Amp under $100
"I picked this up because my other pre-amp would clip and peak too quickly. This remedied that problem and cured half a dozen other problems I didn't realize I had till I got this one going. It's worked like a charm since I plugged it in, with amazing sound quality, plug-and-play into the PC, and plenty of bells and whistles."

Top Notch
"Needed a good quality audio interface for recording to PC. , Using it as sub deck from mixer to output to computer via USB and to amp/speakers and headphones each with their own volume controls. Simple to setup and connect."

I regret purchasing this, it doesn't work as described.
"Tried this on a couple different laptops and can't get it to work as described. Microphone inputs didn't work and the device wasn't recognized by my Dell, or HP laptops. The guitar input worked as I was able to hear it using headphones along with the auxiliary line, but if you're looking to record to audio recording software using the microphone, this is not what you should purchase. Also, you should know that support is no help whatsoever. I regret this purchase, because it doesn't do what it states in the description. I cannot recommend this Plye product. UPDATE: I've been trying to get Tech Support for weeks now. They will not offer any support at all! They just keep delaying me and it has become apparent that they have no intention of helping me in any way! If you buy one of these and it doesn't work correctly, you are just out of luck! UPDATE: Finally succeeded in getting Customer Support, it wasn't easy and requires persistence and patience. They sent me a new unit that works as described. I'm bumping my review up to 3 stars, because when it works it's actually quite good, but if you get a bad one, it takes too long to get support."
