QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
do you sell the preamp with an ac power adapter multivolt?
It says on the listing that the DC 12-Volt Power Adapter is Included but it does not say if it is multi volt

Can i use the 120ac to 12vdc power adapter for 240vac? Or need another? Thanks a lot Ricardo
You may use a different one that fits 240 VAC or you may use an auto volt 110 / 240 VAC to 12 VDC

I have no sound after setting up the preamp as instructed
Connect the Turntable out to the input jack of the PP444 then the output of the PP444 to any of the inputs on your receiver

Hi....is the power supply international? can it connect to 220 and 120V?
Hi there, thanks for asking!
Yes, it is! DC 12V power supplies or an adapter are some of the most common power supplies in use today. In general, a 12VDC output is obtained from a 120VAC or 240VAC input using a combination of transformers, diodes, and transistors.

I purchased one of these from Amazon and it is model PP444 but it is missing the grounding connection. I am getting a lot of static and would like a model that can be grounded to the turntable. Would you provide me with a different model or tell me how to ground this model?
The ground screw was removed from its original design and what you can do is to loosen one screw near the input section and insert the ground wire and tighten it back again.

Make sure that the PP444 is receiving power through the DC 12-Volt Power Adapter.

I bought the pp444 and it has a different ground. The ground is a solid hexagonal post that a ground wire doesn't seem to be able to connect to and I can't manipulate by hand. Is it just screwed in too tight?
It may have been screwed in too tight.

I recently moved and my preamp PP444 no longer is providing sound to my speakers. I have the grounding set up, I’ve unplugged everything and tried again and nothing. Is it broken?
Check if it is getting power

2nd try: turntable to audio in and ground, audio out to my powered speakers. When I plug in power I get a pulse, the power light and the sound both pulse. What am I missing?
YOU MAY HAVE A BAD POWER SUPPLY
-
When I plug the power in the preamp pulses causing the sound to go distort and pulse. The ground is connected.
2 Things
It can be a bad Power supply or a bad preamp -
when I hookup both the right and left cables there is constant banging through my speakers. If I hookup red only the one speaker is fine, if I hookup white only the other speaker is fine. Ground wire is connected. What could this be and do you have any suggestions to fix this?
It is not normal to hear any unnecessary noise when using the Phono preamp. If yu have tried replacing RCA cables Please coordinate with your seler if you are still within the 30 day return / replacement period. We suggest to try our PP777 Phono pream instead
