Ask a Question-
What do the Pro+ and PRO- buttons do on the top front of the 5.1-Ch. Bluetooth Home Theater Receiver PT588AB?
The Pro+ and Pro- is the program search
-
What do the Pro+ and Pro- buttons on the top of the front panel do? (5.1-Ch. Bluetooth Home Theater Receiver PT588AB)
It is for a quick search on the radio station

What would be the problem if the 5.1 Feature does not work in the HDMI mode? only the left front speaker has sound. By the way, the 5.1 feature works in the AM/FM tuner mode.
It may be the HDMI Cable that is defective
-
Since you didn't answer my question the first time,I'll ask again. Does the aux inputs decode 5.1 surround sound? My TV does output a 5.1 encoded signal on it's left & right audio output jacks (RCA jacks). My old surround sound unit decoded these signals and provided surround sound 5.1 just fine. Also I am using a HDMI cable from my blue ray player to the HDMI 1 input. Playing a blue ray disc know to be in 5.1, the "prologic" light does not come on. Same thing with my HDTV DVR on HDMI 2 input. Is this unit defective or what? I am about to pack this thing up and return it!
AV receivers should be able to decode surround signals through the left and right input chat channels
-
I watch TV using an off the air antenna. I have the audio out of the TV going to aux 1 on the PT588AB. I have the unit set to 5.1 audio. The "prologic" indicator does not light up and there is no center speaker audio. Doesn't this unit decode 5.1 on the aux inputs? There is not a HDMI output from the TV.
It is possible that the signal from the TV output is only stereo
-
What type of FM antenna connector is required to connect to this unit? I have never seen an antenna jack like that.
-
I have audio output but no video out from my HDMI connection. I've checked all cables and even connected directly to the TV to make sure it wasn't the cable. How do I fix the "no video output" issue from my PT588AB 5.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver? Thanks
There are several HDMI versions that have already been released so it is a possible issue of incompatibility.
-
Does the Channel Mode selector let me run a stereo signal to all 5.1 speakers?
there is no all channel stereo mode
-
With the HDMI pass thru will this allow me to watch and hear my TV(TV speakers only) without using this amp for surround sound? Do you offer Veteran Discount?
Yes, the HDMI is pass-through support. There is no Veteran discount

Attempt #2 since the first attempt seems to have been answered by someone only capable of writing one sentence, which is inadequate to answer half a dozen issues I raised below. (Honestly, I'd settle for an answer to the one question about HDMI throughput.) PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS / CONCERNS WITH MORE THAN ONE SENTENCE! Product says it allows for video pass through or switching. When I hook up Blu-Ray player and Fire TV Stick to HDMI 1 and 2 and an HDMI cable from the HDMI Out to my TV, I get no signal. Also, why does the blue power light blink constantly? Have any of your engineers ever used your product? I feel like the tiny fingers of a 3 year old are needed to put the speaker wires into the holes on the back. How did you all decide on the design for the FM antenna? It works fine, but since we're LITERALLY putting a square peg in a round hole, you're basically forcing us to do something that feels like it will break the device. (Oh, and there's literally no instruction about how to connect the antenna.) The image of the remote is not the same as the remote I received in the box. Pretty close, but maybe make it match EXACTLY. Lastly, how about taking another stab at a manual and including all the answers below? And maybe make it searchable so that if someone has a question, they don't have to read the whole thing to find the keyword they're looking for?
1. HDMI: 4K Ultra Pass-Through Support 3D HDTV Video Pass-Through Support. There should be no issues with Blue-Ray Player but with ofirestick there may be issues with compatibility
2. why does the blue power light blink constantly:
Light indicates not only the presence of power but the availability of Bluetooth connection as well
3. Speaker terminal: The Speaker terminal is a universal standard terminal in which you can use a standard banana plug to connect to it and or insert a bare wire through the post by unscrewing it and tightening it once the wires are in.
4. Remote control: The remote control may not look the same as the one that is pictured since it was updated with different looks

product says it allows for video passthrough or switching. When i hook up an Xbox or PC, or computer to the hdmi inputs, i get no signal via the HDMI output, which has a monitor connected
HDMI mode needs to be properly selected.
