What is the maximum number of speakers I may connect? Not counting the powered subwoofer. I notice speakers A-F (@6), top & L&R Channel, below. It appears that I may connect twelve (12) speakers. Please confirm if true and if not, then… Thanks

The Bluetooth connects easily and well if I stay within 10 feet of the unit. Looked all over the Internet could not find an adequate Bluetooth extender or amplifier. What do you have as a resolution to make the Bluetooth actually usable for this device?

The PTA62BT uses Bluetooth 4.0 with a typical range of about 30 feet under ideal conditions, but walls, metal, Wi-Fi interference, and even the placement of the receiver can reduce that significantly. If you are only getting about 10 feet reliably, that usually points to interference or antenna placement limitations rather than a defective unit.

A few things that usually help:

• Move the receiver higher and out of enclosed cabinets
• Keep it away from Wi-Fi routers and other wireless devices
• Make sure your phone is not in a pocket or behind metal objects
• Try disconnecting other paired Bluetooth devices nearby

The PTA62BT does not support external Bluetooth antennas or Bluetooth range extenders directly. For longer-distance streaming, the best solution is usually:

• Use a wired AUX/RCA connection, or
• Add an external long-range Bluetooth receiver connected to one of the RCA inputs

Work through these quick checks to isolate and fix the problem:

1. Separate Volume Controls

The most frequent culprit is the volume layout. The Master Volume knob on the far right controls the overall level of the entire system (both music and microphones), but the microphones will remain completely dead if their independent dials aren't raised.

• Locate the MIC 1 VOL and MIC 2 VOL knobs on the left side of the front panel.

• Turn them clockwise to independent levels (try setting them to the "12 o'clock" position to test).

2. The Microphone Type (The "Phantom Power" Issue)

What kind of microphone are you plugging in? The $1/4 ext{-inch}$ inputs on this amplifier are strictly designed for Dynamic microphones (like a standard karaoke mic or a Shure SM58).

• If you are attempting to plug in a studio Condenser microphone using an XLR-to-$1/4 ext{-inch}$ cable, it will not work. Condenser microphones require $+48 ext{V}$ Phantom Power to activate their internal electronics. • The Fix: You must use a dynamic microphone, or pass your condenser microphone through an external phantom power supply box before routing it into the Pyle.

3. Check the "MIC Talk-Over" Button

Look for a small button on the front panel labeled MIC TALK-OVER.

• When this button is pressed IN, the amplifier automatically ducks (lowers) the background music whenever you speak into Microphone 1.

• If the circuit is misbehaving or latching incorrectly, it can sometimes choke out the vocal signal entirely. Try toggling this button OUT (off) to see if your audio path opens back up normally.

Referent to the speakers conection, I used 6 speakers celestion serie F15, power handling 100 w, 8 ohms and a active subwoofer Cervin Vega. Each Celestion speaker has have 4 plugs, two red and two black and a bridge. i put out the bridge and use a pair of dual cables and proceded to do exactly the same in the unit. That depends on the distance at which the speaker will be placed.
With 4-ohm speakers, you can run up to 24 feet on 16-AWG wire, and for runs up to 100 feet, 10 or 12-AWG wire is recommended. 
If you are using 8-ohm speakers, 16 AWG wire is recommended for runs up to 48 feet and 10 or 12 AWG wire for runs up to 200 feet.

The connection requires to have a receiver and a transmitter. Bluetooth speakers are not compatible with the unit.
