Dehumidifier doesn't turn off
"Bought this for the bedroom we converted the garage into. There is no way to change the dehumidifier setting so it dried out the room too much. The heater worked ok but would stop when it reached the temperature and not turn back on even when the temp dropped without messing with the buttons. Unfortunately I bought it before the room was ready and now I can't return it."

Window kit is too big.
"Good a/c so far. Bad window kit. The window kit was too big. I had to rig half of it with cardboard that I cut off of the box it was delivered with. . I thought it was supposed to be to be adjustable. Not for small windows. They should supply either a few different size pieces for the window kit. Then it would adjust."

Quiet enough I forget about its on
"When it said that it will heat up, I didn't think it would so when it arrived, I tried that and boy can it heat up a room. I did turn that off and immediately started the AC cooling and that helped cool off the room. Not only does it feel great but even with a room that can get stuffy, this cools it off in nothing flat. There have even been times where I have to turn up my home's AC because it's too cold in the family room. What's really great about this machine is that when we had a birthday party, we didn't have to run our AC constantly because of this machine. It not only kept our living, dining, and kitchen cool but some people actually got too cold and had to move. This thing is quiet enough that I accidentally left it on when we left for the day. Came back and our living area was super cold. This did come with an exhaust kit for our window but we actually don't use it and this thing still works great. I don't suggest using this with old plugs as it did cause the break to shut off. However, our home is more up to date so we haven't had any problems with that."

It can cool, but it is too noisy.
"I really like this concept, but the final outcome didn't work as expected, I mean, is an in-between within the fact that it can cool, but doesn't cool enough to be ""the ideal cool"", and then *THE NOISE*, IT RUINS EVERYTHING, I mean the cooking capacity is good, but you can get deaf if you sleep with that thing turned on."

Works like a charm
"I'm thrilled with my air conditioner! It's a great for cooling my 400 sq. ft. office space. Setup was a breeze with the included window mount kit, and the unit's compact size and wheels make it easy to move around. The dehumidifier function works like a charm. It's surprisingly quiet, even on high settings, which is perfect for my home office. It's efficient, versatile, and has made a noticeable difference in comfort during these hot summers."

This is a great AC unit for a medium sized room.

as good as u will get for this kinda $
"This is my second one. First lasted 4 summers then died Thats probably to be expected these days so i'm not too disappointed but took off one star for that. The new one works great, maybe a tad better because it's brand new and AC's tend to work less well year after year. It;s good for the $, but no small AC like this is going to cool a room bigger then maybe 25x15 It's more about sitting in front of it to cool yourself and getting the room a few degrees cooler. This one i believe is as good as you will find for the 4. I tried a toshiba that was 13 more BTU and much more $ and didn't work as well. So just remember no AC in this range is gonna be great, but i believe this one is about as good as it gets from my experience and from reading S ton of reviews. Oh, and it;s pretty economical when u get the power bill."

Fantastic purchase
"As far as stand-up units go this one is by far one of the premium units available. I purchased this and a split 12,000 BTU system one at each end of my house. They both work absolutely flawlessly but this unit being portable and being able to do as I wish with the vent For window venting. It works great."

Terrible purchase
"I bought this 8/24 never opened the box until today 5/15 . Installed it turned it on for maybe 2 hours and it is leaking water. Do not under any circumstances buy this"
