    Not for suqare legs

    "I roughly measured my chair legs before I got these, and just remeasured them to check. Front legs are 1 1/8 in across, and 1. 5in diagonally on the bottom. Back legs are 1in across, and 1 3/8in diagonally. All of those are under the 1. 75in claimed in the description for square legs. I put a set on one chair, after a week the front ones had split. Just in case that was a fluke, I put new ones on the front. After a week those ones split too. They split from the corners. They didn't feel too snug, they were pretty easy to put on. The back ones are still going, week 3 into 4 currently, but as I tipped the chair to measure I noticed a small split forming on one corner. So I don't believe they will last."

    What a floor saver

    "I wanted to give this a real go, so I've delayed my review after quite a bit of use with a very busy household. I've been looking for a product that would hold up to the demands of the needs in our home and until now, I just haven't found anything with any staying power. I ended up ordering a size up than what I actually needed, and I'll try a size down, but these are working great. This would be best with a chair or bench leg that is round and tapered at the end, but I'm using them on a square legs. These are metal legs and the chair is a very heavy mahogany, so they are getting a real spin around our eating nook. These have held up the longest out of any product I've used in the past and I'd have a hard time not recommending them to anyone looking for a similar solution. I haven't had any rips or tears, and the felt on the bottom as held up and not broken or pulled away from the cover itself. I really wish I would have found these a lot sooner, but I have them now."

    For some things very good, for chairs not so much.

    "I put these on kitchen chair legs and because the chairs are moved in and out often while you have your weight on them, the felt part tends to slip. This causes the silicone to come in contact with the floor and wear through. For tubular leg furniture that is not moved frequently, this is a good item that is easy to put on and will protect the floor well."
