    Strong and quite large

    "This thing is a beast. It cools my room without a problem but it takes up quite a bit of floor space. It's also worth noting that it pulls a lot of electricity. My light bill went up significantly after I started using this and because it's such a strong air conditioner it's constantly blowing fuses and turning off lights. My house is pretty old, from like the 1920s, so the wiring can't handle the pull of this ac, but if you have a more modern home you should be okay. (I counter this by gradually increasing the power; I start with the low fan and I work my way up to the cooling function with the high fan. ) It's been super humid lately and this ac has been a lifesaver."

    Exhaust hose keeps disconnecting from the a/c

    "Very disappointed at how bad the exhaust hose and connector doesn't stay together… I had to tape it together inside and out. For the cost of this a/c , you'd think they would make them better"

    Poor design and poor customer service

    "The window mount is badly designed, with a rounded edge instead of a groove where I should be able to close the window on it. However, the rounded edge won't hold the window, of course, so it falls out and slams my window shut. No amount of duct tape would keep it in the window. I contacted Pyle to see if there was a workaround. They referred me to the manufacturer, who never responded. So, my house is still hot and I'm out several hundred dollars, until I can lug it to UPS for a return. My pets are sensitive to heat, so I hope they don't die because of this poor design and poor customer service."
