    "This product got us through the Louisiana heat with a struggling AC this summer. It was better than a hideous window unit. It kept 800 sq ft with 12 foot tray ceilings cool in 112 degree heat indexes this summer with a central unit that would only cool us to 78 by itself. Great buy, would purchase again."

    Frustrating Refund Experience

    "This is just an expensive heavy fan. Did not cool at all. I have been waiting on my refund since 03Jul2024 when the AC was delivered back to the company and they continue to push the date out of when the refund will be issued back to my card. It went from Jul 9 to Jul 19 to Jul 22 and today on Jul 22nd the date has been pushed out to Jul 27th. I would not recommend ordering from this company again. Horrible experience."

    Misleading and Unhelpful

    "The tube and window slide were not the same as the photos in the description. The tube does not stay attached to the unit . We had to duct tape it to get it to stay on! My husband called 3 times about this issue and was told someone in their parts department would address the issue. No one ever did! If you have any problems with this unit will not get any help. Buyer beware!"

    "This ac is not cooling. Have it set at 70 and it's 79 in here. My old window unit for 129 works better than this thing. Waited after return window to even set it up. Too bad on my part. Don't buy it!"

    Excessive Water Drainage from AC Unit

    "I received a package that had been opened and retaped. I ran the air conditioner for a few hours and noticed water leaking. I put in the hose for constant drain. This air conditioner is draining a gallon of water every 90 minutes. It has been days and it is still happening. Today is 66 degrees of humidity not high enough to cause this much water"

    Powerful Cooling with Installation Challenges

    "Out of the box, this seems like a well-built product. It is easy to maneuver; while hefty not as heavy as I anticipated. I bought this to cool my large living room and adjacent dining room — not disappointed in the capacity of this machine to cool things down in short order. For a 14000 btu unit, very quiet operation even at high fan setting. Some negatives: 1. No instruction manual; 2. Hose connections to the fittings are terrible — hard to put on and keep on. Once properly secured they are ok; but without an installation manual it's not good; 3. Window kit for the exhaust hose supplied does not anticipate narrow casement openings. My casement windows are only 20†wide; so needed to do some customization (required extra outlay). No insulation for window exhaust kit; no AAA batteries for the control. On balance, the product performance and quality outweighs negatives (at least for me). However, definitely potential problems with the exhaust hose and window installation kit --- i needed to purchase a 1""""x1"""" square wood dowel in order to properly seat the exhaust in the casement window; purchase air conditioner insulation; cut the supplied thermoplastic exhaust fascia down to 20""""."
