I'm looking for a 10,000 to 12,000 BTU heater for a home we live in a three bedroom trailer we have an issues with the furnace and the returns was wondering if this 10,000 BTU AC heater would help with the living room the kitchen and one bedroom

Because portable units rely on open space to push air, it will be able to handle a single open-concept area—like your living room and kitchen combined, assuming they are connected and under that size limit. However, it will not be able to effectively heat or cool the separate bedroom at the same time, as walls and doorways block the airflow of a single-hose portable unit. You would need to choose between placing it in the main living space or moving it directly into the bedroom you want to target.
