How do you set the radio stations? Do you have a choice of which stations to set? Or will the stations set automatically by what comes up on a search? When changing from one station to another, can it be done directly? Or do you stop at every preset station in between?
Set the selector knob on the far right of the receiver to BT/FM/USB/SD. Once you have done that, press the mode button to select FM, and then you can press the play pause button to scan all radio stations. Once you have done scanning you can now search using the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons to locate the station you want to listen to but you can not assign your favorite station

We use the PTA42BT amplifier at our yoga studio to play music over a blue tooth connection from our instructor's cell phone. We've done this for several years and have been very happy with how it works. The one issue that we have is that when we are between classes and changing from one instructor's phone to another, the blue tooth disconnect and reconnect chimes that are broadcast through the speakers are intolerably loud. When I first installed it, I contacted Pyle and asked if that could be changed with a setting or firmware update, but I was told that was not an option. This is becoming a higher priority for us, so I'm asking again... can the issue be resolved our current device or is there another Pyle amplifier that would not do this. Blue tooth is the only input we need to use. We drive four speakers on one channel and two speakers on another. We don't use the 3rd and 4th channels.
Make sure to have the first device fully disconnected before connectng a new device.
Regarding the notification chimes volume. It is a default level which is fixed and can not be adjusted. You can Try our PT8050CH

Hello, I have several older home speakers @ 8ohms and a big truck box with woofers at 4 ohms. Although the manual states a 4-8 ohm range, is it recommended to MIX different ohms rated speakers with this device, if I keep them on separate output channels?
No. If using a 4 ohm on one channel, all channels should be at 4 ohms as the sound output will be different on to which impedance you are using.
